Hand Quilting is alive and well!

Every Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

The art form of hand stitched quilts lives on in the form of an old-fashioned quilting bee at Godfrey Congregational Church.  From experienced to novice, these ladies enjoy true fellowship as they quilt and share life experiences. New quilters are always welcome! If you want to learn how to quilt, they are happy to teach. Otherwise, just drop by to watch, have a chat, and share in the fellowship! No longer need to bring a lunch.

Our quilters are always looking for new quilts.  If you have embroidered or pieced blocks and want them made into a quilt top our quilters are ready to stitch.  Many patterns are available for the final quilt stitching design.  Bring your blocks or quilt top and let them help you decide which design would make a beautiful quilt to be treasured as an heirloom.
